Mlle Potts & Co: One year of sweet treats and delicious food in the heart of Bordeaux

A place inspired by…

First and foremost, there is this “place”, at 2 rue Planterose, which has a special aura. The various “tenants” have fostered a spirit of sharing over a drink and a treat, and have each left their mark on this place in their own way. There’s the homely feel of “C’est chez nous”, the commitment and the armchair of “Buro des Possibles”, and the seasonal cuisine and pastel tones of “Anémone”. Mlle Potts & Co is the link between the different stories of 2 rue Planterose…

Why this name? After a vote with my inner circles from a various list, Mlle Potts & Co was the one, inspired by the Disney animated movie Beauty and the Beast. I add “Co” for the plus: we can have lunch, work, and talk here… In fact, Mrs Potts and Chip are keeping watch at the entrance to the lounge – it’s up to you to spot them!

More than a tea room, Mlle Potts & Co is your getaway in the heart of Saint Michel in Bordeaux.

A year of sweet treats and sharing

Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting you all, each of you bringing your own touch to the story of Mlle Potts & Co. Here are a few highlights from this first year:

• Unforgettable brunches: The emplacement has changed, last in date at the start of April. The must-haves included the deli platter, cheeses and crêpes, new seasonal recipes, and vegan options… The Sunday get-together!

• Pastries that take you on a journey: The winning trio: brownie, cookie and pound cake have won you taste buds. Gluten-free and vegan options so that everyone can treat themselves to a sweet break.

• Activities for everyone: crafting workshops, after-work, private hire for birthdays or business meetings… Every event has been an opportunity to create unique memories.

• An inclusive lunch menu: The daily menu includes vegetarian and vegan options, so that everyone can enjoy these delights.

A space for everyone

In this spirit of building bridges - whether it’s between my professional experience or between the various “lives” of the place - I am committed to welcoming all guests, whether they come alone, with friends, family or for work. The flexibility of the space means it adapts to everyone:

• For professionals: An ideal setting for business breakfasts, meetings or after-work get-togethers.
